Anthropic, the company behind the Claude models, has approved our application to the Claude Partner Network. Here is what the programme is, what it changes in practice for companies working with us, what it does not change, and how to check a partner's status at the source.

What happened

Anthropic, the company behind the Claude models, has approved Kabaun Studio's application to the Claude Partner Network. This is the programme through which Anthropic recognises companies that help organisations put Claude into production: integration, consulting, training, team support.

For us, it is first the recognition of a practice already in place. The agents, automations and applications we deliver rely largely on Claude models, and we run them in production for our clients. Joining the network gives that work an official framework, and direct access to the vendor's resources.

The Claude Partner Network in brief

Anthropic launched the programme on 12 March 2026, with an initial commitment of one hundred million dollars for partner training, technical support and joint market development. The network is aimed at firms that help companies move from trial to production.

On 3 June 2026, the company added a track for services firms, the Services Track, organised in three tiers according to how deep each partner's practice runs: the number of certified people, the number of customers deployed in production and public customer stories. A portal, the Claude Partner Hub, lets each partner track where it stands against these requirements, and a public directory presents partners to companies looking for one.

Partners get access to the vendor's training, including the Claude Certified Architect, Foundations certification, aimed at architects building production applications with Claude, along with the programme's technical and commercial documentation.

What it changes for you

For a company that entrusts us with a project, three things change in practice.

  • More direct access to the vendor. Our engineers have Anthropic's technical resources and a support channel dedicated to partners. When model behaviour raises a question in production, we escalate it through the right path.
  • Closer monitoring. Models evolve fast, and each new version changes costs and capabilities. Being in the network puts us in the right place to assess early what a release changes for the tools we run, as we did for Claude Opus 5.5.
  • A verifiable status. Partner status is not a marketing claim: it can be checked with Anthropic, which publishes its list of partners. It is a good habit to adopt with any provider claiming to be a vendor's partner.

What it does not change

Joining a vendor programme changes neither how we work nor our commitments to clients.

  • We choose the model by task. Claude is often the right choice for our uses, but not always. Some tasks run better or cheaper on another model, and some need no AI at all. Our CADRE cost framework rests precisely on that principle.
  • What commits the company never comes out of the model. A price, an availability, a reference, an address: these are computed server side and checked before display, whatever the vendor. That is the subject of our article on why an AI agent must never quote a price.
  • Your data stays yours. Hosting, access and reversibility are decided with you, project by project. Our article on hosting an AI project in France presents the options.
  • The method stays the same. Our engineers work at your site, on your data, alongside the people who will use the tool. That is the forward deployed engineer model, and a vendor partnership does not change it.

Why we applied

A large share of what we build relies on Claude: agents that answer from a client's content, tools that read and sort documents, automations that draft and check. We do it with strict rules, set out in our responsible AI memo: a clear scope, server-side guardrails, an explicit place for humans, and a measure of what the deployment consumes.

Joining the network brings that practice closer to the vendor whose models we use. It is also a standard we set ourselves: the programme's tiers rest on certified people, real deployments and public stories, which is exactly how we want to be judged.

What a Claude partner actually does

The title covers different jobs, and it is better to know which one you are buying. At our studio, the work falls into four families.

  • Building agents that answer from your content, with server-side guardrails and a handover to a human when the agent goes beyond its scope.
  • Automating workflows where Claude reads, sorts, extracts or drafts: processing incoming documents, preparing proposals, checking consistency between two sources.
  • Building the business application around the model: the database, the screens, the permissions, the logging, everything that makes a tool hold in production.
  • Training teams to work with these tools on their real cases, so adoption follows go-live.

In all four cases the model is only one piece. Value comes from connecting it to your business: your data, your vocabulary, your rules and your edge cases.

Questions to ask a Claude partner before signing

  • What have you put in production, and can I talk to a user? A demo does not prove that a tool holds load and hard cases.
  • How do you stop the model from producing data that commits the company? The answer should mention server-side checks, not just instructions.
  • How do you measure quality? A serious partner builds a set of real cases with your teams and replays it at every change.
  • What happens when a new model ships? The model should be a setting, not a dependency buried in code.
  • Where is my data hosted, and who sees it? The answer should be precise, and written.
  • What stays with me at the end? The code, the access, the documentation, and a trained person to take over.

How to check a vendor partner

Whether for us or for another provider, three checks are enough to tell a real partnership from a sales line.

  • The source is the vendor. A badge on a website proves nothing on its own. The official partner directory, published by Anthropic, is the reference.
  • The tier matters. The programme distinguishes several tiers, with public criteria. Ask which one, and check it.
  • Deployments matter more than the title. Ask to see what the provider has put in production, and talk to the people who use it.

What comes next

We are entering the Claude Partner Hub, which details the programme's requirements and training resources. We are continuing to certify the team and will keep documenting here what we learn by building.

If you are considering a project on Claude, or are unsure which model fits your case, our AI diagnostic places your project in a few minutes, and our AI agent method describes how we would run it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Claude Partner Network?

It is Anthropic's programme recognising companies that help organisations put Claude into production. It gives access to the vendor's training, technical support and resources, with a public directory of partners.

Does Kabaun Studio now use only Claude?

No. We choose the model by task, cost and each project's constraints. Claude is often the right choice for our uses, but a task may run better on another model, or need no AI at all.

How can you check that a provider really is an Anthropic partner?

By consulting the official partner directory published by Anthropic, which is the reference. A badge on a website is not enough. Also ask for the partner's tier and the deployments it has put in production.

What does it change for a project already under way?

Nothing in method or commitments. The partnership gives us more direct access to the vendor's resources and support, useful when model behaviour raises a question in production or when a new version ships.

Does your data go through Anthropic because of this partnership?

No, the partnership changes nothing about data processing. Hosting, model and access choices are made project by project, with you, according to how sensitive the data is.

A case like this at your end?

We always start with a diagnostic: what can be automated, what must not be, and what it really costs.
